    1. Hi,

As the information provided by uber, the cash payment option is available for some selected riders.

We still have no exact info on how was it going. We will be providing more info as soon as we gathered enough data.

    1. there's none for this week to majority of partners. Please stay tuned as there could be an incentives by next week.

  3. 'There's none for this to majority of partners.' I think it is unfair. So some partners can earn more while us are operating on a loss? The fare generated by your system is too low for us to earn money. We even experience a trip starting from Makati to Novaliches and it only charged the rider for 230 pesos. Do you really believe that we can earn with this kind of system?

    2. kawawa nman ang Drivers and operators, lalo n sa kagaya nmin n ka start pa lang. how can we pay the monthly amortization ng CAr. better to be a family driver uli, di pa masyadong pagod sa biyahe.

    3. We are hoping that this won't be permanent. There are other ways to earn and maximize profits for your car.

  4. The only way to stop that is to stop driving. Although I know many people cannot afford to do that, I think it would be nice to organize a boycott one day a week where drivers leave the Uber app off.

    1. Majority won't agree, or maybe some won't and will just drive when they see surges.

  5. Can you apply in uber even if your car is loaned? According to uber, the car owner should apply for the TNVS application. If your car is loaned, the name on the OR/CR will not be named after me. How is that? What documents do i need to submit?

  8. Wala incentives.pero may surge.eh ndi nmn napupunta yung surge sa driver or operator.pilit namin na hinahabol ang surge dahil wala incentives kaso parang pinaglalaruan lng nila pagdating mo dun bigla mawawala surge.hai kakawalang gana mag drive ngayn.sayang lng pagod.

    1. And surges don't work every time. Nag hihintay ung mga tao na mawala ung surge bago mag book ulit. Very seldom lang ung mga pumapatol sa surge. Wala ding sense ung "SURGE" thing ng uber.

    2. Yep passengers are wise nowadays. Surge doesn't work well compared last year

  9. I've heard that uber has been buying fleets of cars to operate directly. one day all uber cars will be operated exclusively by uber and the other operators will be dropped. we should start an operators union early so when that time comes we can create our own app and apply as a new TNC with LTFRB. This TNC will be for all operators and no 20% deduction.

  10. I know that it's not that easy for a car brand to be listed in uber's vehicle list, for example someone i know from Baic philippines tried to contact uber so that their cars will be listed under uber vehicles but i think they were not allowed and i'm surprised because baic is doing well in the philippines. But then it's interesting to see that chinese car brand and model Geely LC suddenly becomes listed under uber vehicles and geely cars are not doing well in the philippines in fact i think they will already close shop next year(a geely employee told me). That same insider also told me that uber bought all their geely LC 2012 model surplus(these are units that were not sold in 2012 and was stocked in their warehouse). the car is so cheap it costs 280th(gL) and 250th(ga) model. they have only 2 units left in stock but i did not buy it because i think these 2 units are damaged. then another uber operator told me uber has also been buying fleets of toyota vios but i dont know where he got that info. i think you have an unbiased website and you are a great help to uber partners, there is another "uber-partner/operators" group on facebook but i think it was made to help operators i think the people from uber itself created it. from all your blogs i can see that you are truly a great help to operators maybe you can start to organize us operators and maybe one day when we have the numbers we can create our own app and apply as a new TNC with ltfrb, it's a dream but maybe it can come true one day

    1. We also heared about the rumor about white vios, but it turned out to ne the 24/7 taxi company and enlisted on grabcar all those 200 units.

    2. So far about other brands we really don't know, i guess it would be better to ask uber directly as they sometimes do consideration as long as it is not a van or 2 door vehicles

    3. By the way thanks for those words we are here to help the partners needed help. Starting a new tnc and app based transport might be a complicated project. Gotta think about the fundings too.
