Fuel efficient vehicles that you can use for Uber Manila.

On this article we will be answering about what is the best cars to be used for Uber Manila. We have received a lot of email about fuel efficiency cars and i think this will be the right time to answer them.

As you know that saving is also a type of earning, and the most expensive on this business is the fuel cost, if you really are serious doing Uber, you need to read this. This could maximize your income or maybe increase it depending on your goal.

Top 8 fuel efficient cars that you can use in Uber Manila

  • Suzuki Alto 0.8 M/T - Suzuki Alto's fuel consumption according to DOE (Department of Energy) is about 34km / L. If we are going to put it on a business perspective, your P35 (1L) of fuel can run from Quezon City (Fairview) going to Makati City and also can still get back to Cubao EDSA.
  • Honda Jazz 1.5 - Honda Jazz's fuel consumption according to DOE is about 27.5 km/l. If you are looking for a stylish yet fuel efficient vehicle, add this to your list.
  • Lexus CT200h - Lexus CT200h's fuel consumption according to DOE is about 24.4 km/l. More on an executive type of car, we haven't seen one in Uber Manila that drives a lexus. It is stylish, luxurious yet fuel efficient veehicle that can really step up the game.
  • Toyota Prius C - Toyota Prius C's fuel consumption is 24.23 km/L. Prius is the first hybrid car of Toyota.
  • Ford Focus 2.0 M/T - Ford Focus' fuel consumption is about 21.39 - 25.9 km/L. The problem that we could only see is that Ford Focus is a 2.0 and in the long run couldn't withstand the wear and tear as a public transport vehicle.
  • Hyundai Accent - Hyundai Accent's fuel consumption is 16km/l - 23.3 km/l. What else could we say, oh yes, this mean machine is running on diesel, so imagine how much you can save if you have this one.
  • Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 - Toyota Altis' fuel consumption is 10km/l - 15.5 km/l. You might be thinking why on earth will you buy a toyota altis just to make it a transport vehicle? Well you gotta say that Altis is the best car when it comes to speed and style, very luxurious especially the 2015 - 2016 models, and yes ALTIS is a fuel efficient vehicle and can also withstand the wear and tear.

Other vehicles that you might want to consider are, TOYOTA VIOS, HONDA CITY 1.3 M/T, HYUNDAI GETZ, HYUNDAI i10, HYUNDAI EON, the said make and brand runs on gas and the fuel consumption ranges from 10km/L to 18km/L.

Well there you go guys, i hope this could help you up on this venture. Remember that driving smart can also maximize your earnings. Saving gas can do too. If you have questions don't hesitate to leave them on the comment section below.

    2. We found this at top gear, a comment came from a chevy spin owner:

Hi fellow chevy spin owner, don't you have any problem with your unit? We bought one sometime July last year a chevy spin 1.3 LS diesel M/T here in Cagayan de Oro. After a few months of using it, during a 5 hr trip, we experienced a sort of engine problem esp. if you will accelerate from 3rd gear to 4th gear, it seems that it has no power even on plain terrain and much more on uphill drive. There were even 2 instances that the engine stoped but good thing it starts again but the problem persist occasionally. So we decided to visit the dealer to report the problem, they recommended to have the unit checked by their technician. After 2 days the unit was released hoping that it was resolved and they told us that the unit was ok and that they just made some adjustments to the turbo. But to our dismay that still the problem still persist and it's getting even worse because it almost can't make it to an uphill drive. When i refer back the problem to the dealer, they advise us again to have the unit checked. This time they made another diagnostic and recommended to have the turbo cleaned with this expensive diesel cleaner for turbo which they charged to us even if the unit is still within warranty because our unit is just 9 months old. Our unit is already 4 days now in the CASA and we have no assurance that the problem will be resolve. I am just wondering why clean the turbo when it's just months old. We just had our first PMS a month ago and they did not recommend for turbo cleaning. I just hope that our unit is just fine. Hoping to hear some of your thoughts regarding the problem of our unit. Thanks.

  3. I have a 2016 wigo, what are the chances of this getting approved by LTFRB for a CPC?

also would you happen to know why some CPC applications are rejected besides the fact that their cars are 2011 or older?

    1. Wigo is accepted, it'll be given a cpc since ltfrb memorandum circular for tnvs is different and wigo is accepted.

Other chances could be that they have incomplete requirements. Or there is something wrong in the documents that the partner had submitted.

    1. In our experience it is about 9.6km/l to 12/l but considering that 2.5 is a diesel and have a larger engine displacement, it's a good muv with a decent seating capacity.
