Once you finished signing up, just wait for UBER Manila to email you. You should know that the whole process could reach up to 5 days. Once you finished signing up you should ready the ff documents.

- NBI Clearance
- Police Clearance
- Professional Drivers License with Official Receipt
- Car Images (interior, exterior, front view with plate number, rear view with plate number)
- Car Registration with Official Receipt
- Car Insurance

For Partner-Operators:

- NBI Clearance

- you need the following documents from your driver (NBI Clearance, Police Clearance, and Professional Driver's License with Official Receipt)


As per LTFRB and DOTC requirements since UBER Manila is now an accredited TNC (Transport Network Company) we as partners are required to apply for TNVS Permit (Transport Network Vehicle Service Permit) in order for us to legally be on the road and here are the requirements below.

- DTI Registration: Take note that the one who needs to register the business name should be the person who's name is in the OR/CR of the car, also the business registration should be in the Regional - NCR category.

- Garage Map Image (google map's screenshot would do)

- TNVS Form: you need to fill up a TNVS Form in the UBER office or you could download it via email but you need to notarized the TNVS Form which is 2 pages, you need to have 5 original copies of the TNVS form.

Once you submitted it all in the UBER office, just wait for your PA/CPC and the magnetic sticker so that you can be on the road.

Simple isn't it? Well it should take less than 2 weeks for the whole process, just make sure your documents are complete, plus make sure that the person who's name is in the OR/CR of the car should be the one who'll be signing everything.

Hi guys let me teach you on how you can attain 5 stars rating from your passengers. You will need this if your rating is below 4.6 stars as you would know UBER Manila do deactivates partners who have a rating below that mark.

Anyways the tips i am going to share with you guys on how to get 5 star rating in Uber Manila is based with my passengers. If you are following my blog, i always ask them for feedback so i could improve my service. (you might want to read Maximizing profit 101: business cards).

Before i start let me share you my story. Before i tried to know what's the limit of Uber Manila i mean it's rating system. We all know that clients/rider is our blood life in this business but for the sale of experimentation, i did what i could for the riders to give me low ratings. I always come late, sometimes i intend to pretend i don't know the road, sometimes i pretend i don't know how to use a gps (most of them reported me for this) after a few days i received an email from UBER Manila stating that my account is on the verge of deactivation as my rating is below 4.6 on which by them is the standard rating that an effecient driver should have and from that email i thought this could be some kind of BS as i knew some drivers who have a 4.3 star ratings and i have a 4.55 by then and yet the drivers i know with a low rating soon gets deactivated,

Now back on the main topic, in just one week i began my experimentation on climbing back my 4.8 star rating. Well some says that if you have a high rating you'll get more ping request on which i think is true as when i got my 4.8 star rating back i got much more request and no more cancelled by riders than on my 4.5 ratings.

How did i get my ratings back to 4.8 star?

Here are the 5 steps what i did to gain it back.

1. I became punctual again - yes i slacked off because of the experiment of having a low rating. After receiving the email, i did change all of it and started to be on time again.

2. I smile and greet - yes this is essential in our business. It makes the riders feel a very welcoming charm upon entering our cars. And they will feel safer to a charming and jolly driver.

3. I opened the door for them - this might not an ideal, but if you want to climbed up, you must do an extra effort and one of them is opening the door for the riders.

4. Aksed their preferred route - you might not get this yet but will explain it from the riders feedback.

5. Provided the best and eargasm musics - with the help of spotify, i created a playlist that is so very relaxing on traffic. I created about 6 playlist having 50 songs on each playlist. I always ask the rider which are their favorite. I have a playlist for super relaxation just like jazz and i have a playlist for party girls like hiphop or edm.

Well that's what i did after a week i got my 4.8 star ratings back. Now let us discuss about my client's feedbacks. If you would ask how i got feedbacks of my passengers, you might want to read my article about the business card strategy.

Here are the things you should consider as majoriry of my clients did mention the ff criteria upon providing a feed back to UBER partners.

1. Enough leg room - majority do want a big space, it makes them feel relax and having a big legroom is always a plus for the passengers.

2. Relaxing music - yes, you read that right. Majority of our passengers wants music, always ask what's their favorite station as he/she will be stuck with you on Metro Manila's ultimate road traffic. Make sure you play a soothing music and should be enjoyable according to their age and mood.

3. less talk and less noise - majority of our passengers are tired, so they are expecting a comfortable ride. Again they want music so play a relaxing  tune.

4. Driver appearance - well it is time to use the be pogi move. Passengers wants a tidy, neat and  presentable driver.

5. Road Courtesy - having this in mind, the passenger will feel safe. Don't speed up if not necessary. Passengers love defensive drivers not aggressive drivers.

6. Safety - the most important to all, safety is the top priority for passengers. So make sure before you drive you are in your top excellent condition.

Hi guys, this article is intended for aspiring partners who wants to join UBER Manila. Horray for us as UBER is now an accredited TNC and thus we are now a legal business in the eyes of the public and the government as well. Before i endulge you on the best part let me tell you this first.

Before proceeding you should have the ff documents in order to apply as a partner in UBER, well yeah i know that this is alot but once you are in, you'll be a part of a lucrative business that have years over ahead.

- DTI Registration (must be regional ncr) and take note the business name should be related to transportation.

- NBI and PNP clearance for drivers (so if you are going to drive your own car then you should ready this documents.

- Professional drivers license

- TIN and latest ITR (if you haven't got one, you may just go to BIR and ask about it)

- TNVS notarized from (you could get the non notarized at uber upon applying for an account).

Pretty neat isn't it? Just a few but yeah could take days to get one of these documents. But better be ready.

Now back to the topic. UBER X is a classification of cars in UBER Manila and here goes some of the list.

- mirage g4
- honda civic
- honda city
- toyota altis corolla
- hyundai getz, eon, accent
- tata sedan
- innova
- avanza
- kia rio


Mostly are auv (asian utility vehicles), mid size sedan, compact card. Even if your car isn't listed on here, it is best that you should try asking UBER Manila by emailing them at support@uber.com

How lucrative is this husiness? Well i always said before that it is best to have a backup plan. You can't rely on UBER as your primary source of income but then again, it is changing, i think you could now, but it is still best to have a backup plan.

The way UBER and other ride sharing company revolutionize the transport industry, we have a fair chance to earn a decent income. Since we are now legal i think i could give at least a heads up on how much you can earn a week. You can earn around 18k to 35k a week if you drive your own car here in UBER Manila as a full time doing 8hrs a day. Not bad isn't it?

Hi guys. Today August 19, 2015 UBER Manila is already accredited by LTFRB as a legal TNC (Transport Network Company) under UBER Technologies Inc..

According to Inquirer.net LTFRB and DOTC approved the documents submitted by UBER Manila. LTFRB and DOTC raised it's alarm in the past few weeks for compliance with UBER and gaved UBER Manila a deadline for accreditation by August 20th. UBER Manila complied with this and provided all the documents concerning to be a TNC last August 18th and today UBER Mana is now accredited.

Have you passed all your documents?

Have you provided all your documents? If not then it's the best time to pass your documents to uber. And here are the documents needed.

- certification of registration of business name DTI (must be regional NCR)
- Police clearance and NBI clearance for drivers
- Notarized TNVS form
- garage map image
- car documents

Once you completed the documents UBER Manila will reply with a TNVS MP (Motion for Provision) we will use it to avoid apprehension. And thus this document will serve as an extention for 45 days that we can drive for UBER Manila without apprehension from LTFRB and DOTC.

Hi guys, this is not what i am expecting. As before, UBER Manila always change its promotional incentives every 2 weeks, to my surprise the incentives is the same just like two weeks ago. Anyways we are still lucky because this weeks incentives can be great with a proper strategy with and we have an advantage.

Here are the details of this week's incentives.

From August 17 to August 22, you can earn more by taking advantage of the daily promitional incentives. With a right attitude and right strategy, you could earn atleast 5k to 6k a day, which is not very bad for an extra income right? Well all the details for this weeks incentives  are given below.

Peak Champion

If you complete 7 non peak trips within the day, all of your peak hour trips will have an additional P300 on top of its base fare.

Peak hour trips are done during this time frame: 6am to 10am and 4pm to 9pm. Trips completed outside this timeframe are considered as non peak trips.

Peak Star

If you completed 4 non peak trips within the day, all of your peak hour trips will have an additional P200 on top of its base fare.

Peak hour trips are done during this time frame: 6am to 10am and 4pm to 9pm. Trips completed outside this timeframe are considered as non peak trips.

Peak Performer

If you complete at least 6 trips during peak hour you'll get additional P100 for all of your peak hour trips.

Peak hour trips are done during this time frame: 6am to 10am and 4pm to 9pm. Trips completed outside this timeframe are considered as non peak trips.

Take note:
You can't combine all the promotional incentives for this week. If you already qualify for the Peak Champion, you are not eligible for the peak star and peak performer. If you qualify for the peak star you are not qualified for the peak performer.

Well there you go, it might not look too great. But with a proper mindset and right strategy, you'll definitely earn more. We'll see if next week's incentives will be diferent. I am looking forward that you'll earn more here in UBER Manila.

Hi guys how are you? I really receive alot of emails asking me what is the best vehicle to be use for UBER Manila. Well honestly it is by the preferrence of the partner, but anyways as i promise i'll provide my personal thoughts on this article.

Disclaimer: Just take note that what ever car brands contain on this article is my own personal thoughts, i don't want to initiate brand wars or anything but i'll provide my best according to the data's i gathered from my passengers and my own preferrence.

I personally prefer the 2nd gen Toyota Vios. According to the car experts the 3rd generation of toyota vios is somewhat underpower and consumes alot of gas, but the 2nd gen was somewhat in perfection. Those are the vios issued on 2011-2013 if i am not mistaken. According to 2nd gen owners it can go 16km/l upto 20km/l just think how much money you can save from that. The back seat have enough legroom, but the downside of course it's front seats seems so tight. But then again it is just my personal preference but any cars will do.

Passengers thoughts: leg room is really important for them, if it's a bit spacious they feel relaxed. 9/10 preferred that way. Then there's a good interior, 10/10 agreed having a synthetic leather seats or leathered seats is a big YES for them no matter what car they ride as long as the car have those two qualification then it's easily a 4 star for them, additional 1 star if the driver is magalang and always smiles.

Okay here goes my top 5 preferrence

1. 2nd gen Vios / honda city
2. Altis / civic
3. Hyundai Accent
4. Mirage G4
5. Kia Rio

Yes for me both city and vios (the second gen) or maybe the 3rd gen would be fit for the first spot. Those two cars already proven theirselves on the road. I mean long mileage and can endure long hours on the road. Maintenance wise both brands have an after market replacement parts. So you won't worry on break downs. You can easily find their respective parts and can be back on the road soonest.

My second choice would be an Altis and or a Civic, i know that they are into a bit luxury for a transport business. But hey if you are seriously into this business, you must know that clients prefer the luxury (an easy 5 star rating). But then again having 10.5km/l to 12km/l is a bit off on the budget hut still i appreciate those guys who drove this car for UBER it helps the riders keep comming back for the service.

Hyundai accent, well i also drive this one. What i really want about this car is it's a diesel. So you could save alot of money. i think innova will fit on the 3rd spot as well if it's a diesel.

Well mirage does have a great mileage per liter but i have moved it on my fourth spot because the service and maintenance cost alot and parts are hard to find. Well yes it has a low downpayment and very affordable car but in the long run, i think this isn't a good choice.

Tata, what the hell is tata? Just kidding it's an indian manufactured car, diesel and a great mileage 25km/l to 32km/l. I would move this on the top if there are many aftermarket parts on the PH but sadly it's a bit rare and i only rode it once. Btw it is a bit spacious, one thing i am not comfotable at it is, it's a bit bumpy. I think if you could shed a few thousand for it's suspension this will definitely be a great car for business. Low cost and affordable.

Hi guys i know that we are experiencing alot of crap lately because of LTFRB and DOTC accreditation process, but for now let's not ruin our focus on maximizing profit here on UBER Manila, but instead let me help you again with an aditional strategy that might help you in the future.

Hi this article is about the TNVS (Transportation Network Vehicle Service) accreditation for UBER Manila. This is a guide on how you can get accredited as a TNVS for driving UBER here in Manila. 

As per Atty. Cabrera (He's the DOTC Spokesperson) have said UBER PH already sent a representative that will provide all the documents by August 18, 2015 for UBER accreditation as a TNC (Transport Network Company), we are assuming by this date we all need to provide our documents for us partners to be accredited as TNVS.

In order for us to be accredited as a TNVS we partners need to provide the ff documents:

DTI Registration - We need to register our business on DTI you can do so by going to the DTI website. Just take note that the name should be related to transportation (e.g. Juan Dela Cruz Transport) and it is registered as a Regional under NCR. Business name must be registered under the partner account name. Also refrain from adding or using "UBER" to avoid confusion.

TIN - We need to provide our TIN Number and latest ITR or Income Tax Return(2014).

Police Clearance - For our drivers. If you are a partner-driver, then you also need to provide it.

NBI Clearance - Both Operators/Partners and Drivers need to provide this one. 

TNVS form - you can get this form at UBER or by clicking here. You need to download the form and notarized it. 

Photo - must have a white background and it's dimension should be 2x2

Proof of Filipino Citizenship - you need to scan at least 2 valid ID that

Garage Map - You need to screenshot your garage using google maps.

Once you already have the ff document you can submit it to UBER Manila.

After you uploaded all the documents and you are finished submitting it to UBER manila, you will just need to wait for your accreditation. It's just simple right? It is better that you should ready the ff documents in order to expedite your TNVS accreditation.
