List of accepted vehicles in Uber Manila, Philippines 2016
8:45 PMThere are a lot of aspiring partners who have asked us about their vehicle through email. So, we decided to write an article about it for future reference of other aspiring partners.
Other transport groups took this as an advantage and used it as an appeal to stop the operation of the TNC’s (Transport Network Company) such as Uber Philippines and GrabCar. Later last year, LTFRB ruled it out that the memorandum circular 2009-029 are just for Taxi’s and are not applicable to TNVS under a TNC.

Just want to know. There is no toyota vios. does this mean that uber will no longer accept toyota vios?
ReplyDeleteHi, There's a Toyota Vios on the list. Maybe it just didn't load up the data right away! Anyways just in case that you didn't find the make and model of your vehicle it is best to contact Uber's support as they could accept a vehicle on their discretion.
ReplyDeletewhat uberx and uberblack means?
ReplyDeleteIts the classification of service. In other words uber x = regular and uber black = premium
ReplyDeleteHello admin, what do you think is the best brand new car to get for uber x?
ReplyDeleteHello admin, just for the sake of those who are planning to use vehicles having 3 cylinder engine which I suppose are still accepted by Uber this 2016. Can you please also clarify the post which I have read that vehicles having 3 cylinder engine will soon be uber off in relation to LTFRB circular 2015-004. As to when will this take effect? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi Jojo,
ReplyDeleteVehicles having 3 cylinders are accepted in Uber Philippines regarding to the circular 2015-015 to 2015-018. Any vehicle can be a TNVS as long as the TNC approves the vehicle.. Meaning it is solely on Uber's discretion.
In other words by the way, it's 100% that 1.2L and below or 3 cylinder vehicles can operate in Uber Philippines.
ReplyDeleteIf my vehicle is under the black category, can i choose to enter as uber x?
ReplyDeleteHi WATARI 911, Well there is an option for Uber Black vehicles that they can opt-in to accept UBER X passengers.
ReplyDeleteHi i already got the car ready for release mirage g4 glx 2016 waiting for me to pick it up but i heard that nowadays it takes so long to get the clearance and start operation (4 weeks - 6 months). Is this true? Need to know so I can properly manage my finance plan for this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteYes it may take 2 weeks to 2 months before you can get your CPC, but once you provided the necessary documents as what uber ph have said you can start as long as your account and vehicles are activated. You may want to contact uber philippine's support team for further questions about this issue at support@uber.com hope this helped you

Would you recommend A/T or M/T vehicles to enroll in Uber? We always hear that M/T is more fuel efficient but A/T might promote driver productivity. We would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi arthur,
ReplyDeleteWell A/T is now also fuel efficient because of the current technology. Although if you put it into investment terms it is much higher than the M/T. If you would ask us, we'd go to productivity :)
