Time and time Uber do change its policy to cater new partners, and so does the reasons why Uber Manila deactivates an account. Below are the reasons why Uber deactivates a partners account.

3 Major reasons why Uber deactivates a partner's account

  1. Idle account - Uber's new policy states that if you are in active within 21 days, as a protection on their interest, Uber will deactivate the idle account. Don't fret as usually you'll receive an email or text message that you should complete a trip before the given date or else you'll get your account deactivated.
  2. Low ratings - Uber really do deactivate a partner accounts if the account have accumulated many low rating (ratings under 3 stars). Uber had said that if a partner's account is bellow 4.6 star ratings with over 500 trips, you'll get your account deactivated. We know it's harsh especially there are riders who does power trip. Some riders do rate low intentionally, like if they don't like the color of your mat, or even if you drive slower or worst they just had a mood swing. Scary but don't fret as long as you know you have driven great and always exert effort and always providing a 5 star service, you can ask for an appeal on Uber support.
  3. Accident - Uber will deactivate your account if you take part of an accident, if your rider reports the trip that you guys had been involved in an accident, expect it that you'll get deactivated for a few days until you make an appeal and provide documents that your vehicle is okay and so does the passenger.

    uber was to harsh about this issue they only relay on rider they dont give justice to driver

    yup just like me got deactivated today with 28 trips 3.52 ratings..

    Hi Sodkillah,

    Send them an email for reactivation. You might need to attend a driver's seminar in order for you to get activated again.
