Uber Cebu will start on late November 2015.

In the following weeks Uber will be launching its service in Cebu City, it will be Uber's first approach to service our visayan brothers living in Cebu. This expansion is not yet clear if Uber will succeed competing for GrabCar's market in Cebu City.

Unlike here in Manila, Uber is currently dominating the market and will soon launch a cash payment for the passengers. Uber Manila's cash payment is currently rolling as an experimental approach, but to what we have heard, it is currently doing well than its competitor (GrabCar).






If Uber can dominate Cebu City, it is a no brainer that Uber will surely expand in Davao City as well. This approach will eventually gives our visayan brothers a chance to be a partner to drive with Uber. Despite of the sudden promotional incentive pull off, Uber Manila is still doing great, it even increased the rider base that all the partners are currently having.

Is it going to be worth it being a partner for Uber Cebu? Well the answer is yes, it is currently on a pilot or pioneering stage. The only advice we can give to our Visayan brothers are the following "7 tips to be a successful operator" and "how to succeed in Uber"

It is sure that it'll be a great experience for commuters in Cebu City to try the Uber Experience. It is much affordable compare to cabs, this will also eliminate language barrier for tourist, as you'll just need to input your destination and let the driver drive you to your destination as easy without any troublesome conversation.
