Uber Manila Leasing Vehicles From Old Partners
9:49 AMAre you an operator who recently stopped or stopped a few months ago because you can't find a good driver? Well, Uber Manila is giving operators a chance to earn once more even without a driver.
Update: Sorry for the confusion, the program is currently on a staging phase. Uber is still collecting data from old prtners in order to push this opportunity. Some partners have received an email containing the survey and you might want to check if you also got an email regarding this.
The price range are as follows:
Daily: 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850
Weekly: 3,500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 550
Monthly: 17000, 17500, 18000, 18500, 19000
Yes, you read that right. Uber Manila is contacting the operators who're willing to lease their vehicles to Uber Manila. This will definitely help those operators to earn constantly and will also help new and old partner-drivers who are looking for a vehicle to drive.
How does this work?
We really don't know it yet on how will this work but Uber had given us a brief intro about this new opportunity.
Operators who have a vehicle and who doesn't have a driver can lease their vehicle to Uber on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. The lease price will depend on the type of vehicle but to give you a rough idea, it could be a P700, P750, P800, P850 or P900 a day.
The partner will be the one who'll decide the price and if Uber thinks it's reasonable then they'll lease it. What's great about this opportunity? Well, you'll never need to worry about operating expense as Uber Manila will shoulder everything (gas, maintenance and etc).
Well, as much as it's too good to be true, there's a little catch. Once Uber leases your vehicle, you'll only be able to use your vehicle for private use once the contract is done. But hey, at least you have a guarantee that you'll earn.
If you are going to accept a P800 per day on a month basis for 6 months regardless if Uber is going to make money out of it or not your income would be P24,000 per month. It's all yours nothing to pay for maintenance and gasoline since Uber will shoulder it.Here's a rough estimate of what a partner can earn
Again the lease price may vary and it's not yet final it could be higher than what we have written.
Conclusion
So what do you guys think? Is this going to be helpful or not? For us, we think that this will help those who bought a vehicle solely for Uber business and not using their vehicles for personal use. The more days Uber leases your vehicle the higher your income will be.Let us know in the comment section below of what you guys think about this new Uber Manila opportunity.
