Uber Manila Income Report after Uber fee increase from 20% to 25%

If you still have no idea, Uber Manila will increase its service free from 20% to 25% for new Uber partners registering from March 14 and onwards, also for the existing partners who still haven’t complied for the TNVS application till March 30, 2016.

For this, we will be creating a new income report for those partners or existing partners who haven’t complied with the LTFRB’s TNVS program.

New Uber Manila Income Report for April 2016

Let us say that the partner is also driving his car, and this month demand over supply is lower the average trips that an Uber driver can make as an average is 15 trips per 8 hours and the average Uber billed to passenger is P120 per trip (not yet deducted with Uber service fee) and let us say that the partner is driving six days per week.

So let us compute the average income of an Uber driver after the 25% service fee of Uber for April and onwards.

Uber billed to passenger – Uber service fee = Cost Per trip
P120 – (120x.25) = P90

Average Trip x Average Cost Per Trip = Gross Income for the day

15 x 90= P,1350 (Gross Income Per day)

Gross Income per day x 6 ( days per week of operation ) = Gross Income Per Week
P1350 x 6 = P8100 (Gross Income Per Week)

Gross Incom for the Week x 4 = Gross Income per Month

P8100 x 4 = P32,400 (Gross Income per Month)

Expenses

Gasoline expense: P2500 / week – P 10,000 / month
Food Allowance: P150/ day – P900/week – P3,600 / month
Monthly Total of Expenses: P13,600

Let us deduct the monthly expenses:

Gross Income per month – Total Expenses = Net Income of an Uber Partner/Driver
P32,400 – P13,600 = P18,800

The Net Income of an Uber Partner/Driver

So basically, an Uber driver's net income per month will be P18,800 if he already owns the car. Remember that the partner still needs to shed at least P2000 per month for the maintenance of the car.

Comparing it our monthly income report we did last January it is a lot of difference. Since supply is much higher than the demand this month is slower than in the past few months. Almost P11,000 difference.

We won’t include the income report for the operators since we all can now see how this thing will go for them.

Is Uber still profitable?

Well in our own opinion, well yes it is. It’s a much lower but still all earnings are treated as incomes. The best thing to do is work smart and build a new strategy that will increase your income.
