Since the fare changed into an upfront fare matrix, Uber partners are now earning slightly higher than the counter part ride sharing app. It shows that Uber partners are earning 10% more than before.

Uber Manila Incentives for October 24-28,2016 for partners. This week's incentives is not really that appealing to partners but this is okay than none.

Like last week, the incentives for this week is also a booster. Making it a little bit hard, but having a bit larger of the pie. There will be now two boosters (silver and gold) you need to hit the targeted trips to earn the bonus. But honestly this will be a bit of shock as this incentives cannot really help the partners.



So basically we couldn't count on the incentives for this week and we will just rely on how much we will earn on the base fare.

Some may have a different requirements and bonus earnings, but we are pretty sure that you guys are as furious as us haha. Anyways below are the requirements of the incentives.

- Complete the required trips to earn the bonus
- Maintain at least 70% Acceptance Rate
- This will run from 4AM of Oct 24 to 4AM of October 28.

This article will help you to maximize your income in Uber Manila, especially for the current promotional incentives dated to October 17, 2016 to October 21, 2016 which is the booster incentives. We know that this is not really the type of incentives that partners are expecting but it's better than none.



We won't be seeing those P35,000 payment statement soon but the good news is we can still earn roughly P15,000+ evety week because of the current incentive. What is the current incentives? It is a fare multiplier and this means that we are earning 1.3x to 1.4x per trip even without the surge.

At the moment because of the upfront fees, the average fare per trip is around P200 per trip, and what we need to do is just drive on the time where the multiplier is the highest and if you check your email that would be 5AM to 9:59 AM and 5PM to 10PM. We just need to take advantage of the timing and everything will be okay.

The traffic will be the worst by the said time but if you plan ahead and study the alternative routes, you can capitalize it and this will make you in advantage. If you do this, you'll be able to complete 10-15 trips at most.

There are also other multiplier bonus that Uber had given each partner and this may vary for every partner. If you complete the required trip that you need to do for 4 days, you may earn at leaset P1200 - P3000 bonus depending on what Uber had given you.

So how do we maximize the earnings? 

Simple, just target at least 60 trips within the promo period. Make sure to complete 15 trips per day if you do and based on the average trip you'll earn P3000 per day without the multiplier if you hit the highest every trip will have at least 1.3x and that will make your per trip with P260 and completing 15 trips will give you P3900 per day. Doing this constantly will surely hit your required trips for the bonus of P1200 to P3000.

More tips will make you more money so try driving on these following area Eastwood, Makati, BGC, Timog, Cubao, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Ortigas, North Avenue. These following areas are the most areas with a lot of request durinf 5am to 9:59 Am and 5Pm to 10pm.

The incentives will continue for the partners who didn't commit any fraudulent activities. For those who had done fraudulent activities, those partners will soon be banned in the system.



Investigations are on their way for every partners and to those who had commit a fraudulent activity will get a warning first as stated in the policy however Uber will withdraw the incentives for them. So even if you commit a fraudulent activity for one day, you will never receive an incentive or bonus payment for the current payout.

After the first warning, if the system found out you are doing a fraudulent act, your account and the operators account will be banned instantly. That been said, if you are currently on a trip you'll be banned from Uber after ending the trip and never will be re-instated again. We should not take this warning lightly, if you really want to sustain a business that can help you financially you must work hard and be fair to other partner.

If the account has been proven doing fraudulent activities, Uber will not pay all the trips and will ban you on the system. This will create an opportunity for aspiring partners who wants to join Uber Philippines.

PA Status For New Partners

This is very alarming. In the past few weeks, the incentives given by Uber had been so great and a lot of partners had benefited from it but it seems that Uber might stop the incentives scheme again because of a lot of fraudulent activities.



The data shows that 3 out of 10 partners are doing fraudulent activities just to hit the incentives. This is very alarming. The most cases are being done with self booking using a cash based trip. If this continued, Uber might end the incentives again.

We all know how hard it is to earn, but to those who are doing those kind of acts, you are not just ruining your business, but also the majority who are fair and working hard to build their business. Yeah you could get a way with it maybe once but if sooner or later you'll get what you deserve.

According to Uber, they had already deactivated at least 5% due to fraudulent activities and there are still 30% being investigated. To those who are doing these kind of acts, you know who you are, and if ever your account gets deactivated, you'll never be able to create a new account again.

Hi guys, LTFRB had now released a statement regarding surge pricing and the government agency wants to regulate the fare before the holidays.



LTFRB Chair Martin Delgra III said on Monday that the agency was considering releasing revised guidelines on TNCs just before the holiday rush when the demand for public transportation goes up. These will include putting a limit on surge pricing as well as requiring drivers to undergo training at the LTFRB to become better and more efficient at their job.

Aside from the fare system, LTFRB were thinking about requiring drivers to undergo training due to increasing of reports regarding ridesharing. As what they have said, this may help drivers to be more efficient to their job.

It is very alarming that reports to drivers from Grab and Uber are increasing. Some riders are saying that Uber and Grab are now turning like a taxi like experience little by little. 3 out of 10 pssengers had alfeady experienced being cancelled without no reason at all, being threatened by a driver, and sometimes the drivers were just waiting 5 to 10 minutes then he'll cancel the trip without even trying to fetch the rider. It is because of those type of drivers that LTFRB is thinking or will require partners to take a mandatory training and this may cost as a little more.

4 out of 10 riders are saying that the service isn't like what it used to be and at least 2 out of 10 had reached out and had reported to LTFRB. If this continue, the ridesharing industry will fall.

Our opinion on this matters does not reflect any company especially Uber Philippines. before LTFRB  would issue a training program that will target rideshare drivers, they should at least require taxi, bus, uv express, and jeepney drivers for that training.

Rideshare drivers, drive much safely compared to the puv drivers. About the surge proce regulation, we somehow agree, but the sure pricing is what keeps rideshare drivers motivated to drive to those dangerous type of roads and even at nights. Imagine that drivers are willing to fetch the passenger and transport them to their place even though there's a knee deep flood, the terrain is very much difficult to druve and etc. comparing it to taxi that sometimes they refuse to convey passenger or sometimes nangongontrata plus some modus and crime could happen along the way.

We hope that if the surge price will be adjusted it should be on the fairness of both passenger and rideshare partners.

This will be a great addition and expansion especially to partners residing in the Southern part of  Metro Manila. This will also help us partners to get new ridership on the south cities especially if we somehow get to service going to alabang or parañaque.
